Entry Four: Physical Acceptance
We look at ourselves in the mirror, see the face that everyone else sees, but do we all not see ourselves as someone that no else sees? We look at the past, we see where we have started, and might be ready for what is to come. We may never be. We grow older in appearance, but not as much as we mentally grow. Most people think that we grow old, we get past that stage in our lives, but how you grow is up to you. Your physical appearance should only matter to you, no one else.
This picture that I found, look at the man, doesn't he seem like he misses the man that he was before? We reflect on so much when we are passing the time, but what about? In our past discussions I told you that I am made of layers, yet everyone has layers that are as thick as mine. I have my family, my parents, but who am I really living for? Have I found them yet? If you read about my past blogs, you know that I was having a hard time seeing what really was clear to blogging, but I know that blogging is simply a voice; someone else's voice that wants to be heard.
I made the mistake of going into detail of a movie that no one probably cares about in one of my previous posts, because I thought it would be cool to show off a piece of me. Then, I jumped into digital identity to show and tell who people can be on the web. That is not who you are to the fullest extent, we all have our own personalities and are so different. I am a person that loves movies, but that is a piece of me that is just a thought that has no purpose. Was it fun for me to write about a topic that I care about? Absolutely, but I was lost on what I should be taking about.
You are probably wondering at this point 'why should I care?', well, that is because people lose their selves, we all do. I watched this movie more times than I could count at this point, but I recommend looking into the characters of the film. Look at who we are, look at who you are, and come back to who you really are. That is the person you should be, and remain. These guys stayed friends all those years because they never looked as age separate the people that they were meant to be together. Run to the people that you want to be with, know who you live for, and you will find the best of yourself. It doesn't matter what you look like, what does that change?

When we work as a team, when we make friends, when we live our lives without a mirror that is who we truly become. Live life without that mirror, and you will find yourself. Your appearance shouldn't matter, it shouldn't matter to anyone, as what is important is the part of us that we decide to expand on. I want to do better in how I write, and show the world who I want to remain, maybe that is the reason why I wrote my piece on that movie. Until next time.
